    1. Jauregui voted in favor of SB163, which “requires certain health insurance to cover treatment of certain conditions relating to gender dysphoria and gender incongruence.”
    2. She also voted in favor of SB302, which protects health care providers and family members from legal repercussions for seeking gender affirming care.
    3. The Democratic Platform says “Democrats will continue to fight for LGBTQI+ youth by building on President Biden’s historic actions to ban so-called “conversion therapy”; protecting LGBTQI+ children from bullying and assault; guaranteeing that transgender students are treated fairly and with respect at school; and ending the homeless crisis among LGBTQI+ youth.”

    2. The Republican Platform also says “Republicans will ensure children are taught fundamentals like Reading, History, Science, and Math, not Leftwing propaganda. We will defund schools that engage in inappropriate political indoctrination of our children using Federal Taxpayer Dollars.”
  2. Support inclusion of LGBTQI+ students – opposes
    1. The Republican Platform says “We will keep men out of women’s sports, ban Taxpayer funding for sex change surgeries, and stop Taxpayer-funded Schools from promoting gender transition, reverse Biden’s radical rewrite of Title IX Education Regulations, and restore protections for women and girls.”
