Washington, D.C. – Today, the National Women’s Law Center Action Fund announced the launch of its first independent expenditure of the 2024 cycle, endorsing Kamala Harris for president and contrasting her track record of leadership in fighting for reproductive freedom with the reprehensible abortion-banning agenda of Donald Trump, J.D. Vance, and the MAGA Republicans who took the stage at the RNC.

The digital ad can be viewed here, targeting over 36k women in Wisconsin, Nevada, and Michigan—key battlegrounds for both the presidency and the Senate.

“The Biden-Harris administration has built a track record to be proud of protecting abortion rights, unlike the MAGA Republicans we saw onstage in Wisconsin at the RNC. These extremists aren’t done attacking reproductive rights—they won’t be satisfied until they have achieved a national ban and restricted access to IVF and birth control. They lie about their own agenda because they know it’s wildly unpopular.

Meanwhile, Vice President Harris has been an unapologetic champion for reproductive freedom. She has campaigned tirelessly in 20 states, compassionately centering the lived experiences of abortion storytellers and providers, and she is the first-ever sitting president or vice president to visit an abortion provider. As president, she will fight effectively for these fundamental rights on day one, and win. The National Women’s Law Center Action Fund is beyond proud to endorse Kamala Harris for president and is ready to ensure that voters everywhere hear this vital message from Harris herself,” said Annie Weinberg, director of civic engagement, National Women’s Law Center Action Fund.
