Robbing Us

What They Took From Us — and Who Wins.

The campaign

What’s at stake

They robbed us

While families struggle, billionaires are cashing in. Congress has been working for them, not for you.

The largest transfer of wealth from everyday people to billionaires happened in July 2025, when Congress passed the Big, Ugly Bill.

What They TookFrom Us

This wasn’t about the government spending unnecessary money.

It wasn’t about fraud.

It definitely was not about lowering costs for families.

It was about robbing us — to enrich them .

10 million people will lose life-saving health care, and states are already cutting home- and community-based services for people with disabilities and older adults. 1

3 million people, including children, seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities, have already lost food assistance as of January 2026—and that number will only keep rising. 4

2.6 million child citizens in immigrant families are newly excluded from the Child Tax Credit. 7

23 health centers operated by Planned Parenthood have already been forced to close as of March 2026, leaving thousands of people with nowhere to go for essential health care, including cancer screening, STI testing, and contraception. 10

Millions of current loan borrowers will be forced to move to more expensive repayment plans, increasing their student loans by more than $3,400 a year. 13

Who Wins

The Billionaire Class All so they can buy another super yacht?

The tax breaks in the Big, Ugly Bill overwhelmingly benefit the top 1% — while raising costs for the bottom 20%. 16 Families lose – and those with the lowest incomes lose the most.

These families will lose an average of $1,200 every year until 2034. That’s about a month of groceries for a family of four. 17 The wealthy gain – and the wealthiest gain the most.

They will gain an average of $13,600 every year until 2034. That’s enough for a new diamond ring each year. 18

Empowering ICE to terrorize families

ICE’s budget tripled under the Big, Ugly Bill 20 This rogue agency now has even more money to kidnap people off the streets, terrorize families and children, kill community members, and leave people in custody, where they are dying in unprecedented numbers.

This funding for ICE is paid for off the backs of families, all while women and families struggle to afford health care and groceries.

New tax breaks

for billionaires and corporations they gave away

What We Could Have Instead

We could invest in us If we made the wealthy pay their fair share, we could fund what really matters.

Investment in people

When we tax the top more fairly, we can restore the health care, food assistance, and education funding they stole, and make more investments that help families thrive.

  • Expand the

Child Tax Credit

Help 19 million low-income children left out of the full benefit.

Reduces child poverty25

  • Fund

Child Care For All

Make care affordable for all families and raise pay for early educators.

Creates 2.3 million jobs26

  • Invest in Home & Community-Based

Medicaid Services

Support the 4.8 million direct care workers providing care to more than 13 million people, including disabled children, disabled adults, and older adults.

Supports people in need of care27

  • Guarantee Paid

Family & Medical Leave

Allow workers to maintain income when they need to care for themselves or loved ones.

Covers all workers;replaces up to $4,000/mo in lost wages28

We can reverse course.

Congress can tax billionaires so they pay their fair share and undo the cuts.

Women and families need health care, food, child care, and education.

We won’t forget.
